What is prorated membership fee? And why do I have to pay it upon signing up?
A prorated membership fee is the membership fee for the current month; it could be the same as the regular membership fee, or it could be decreased based on the number of days left in the month. It applies to 1-year and 2-year contracts only. If you have add-on members, you have to pay the prorate for each member.
If you sign up before the 10th of the month, the prorated fee stays the same as regular membership fees. If you sign up after the 10th of the month, then the prorated fee will decrease. It will decrease again after the 20th of the month.
