I used to weigh 360 pounds and struggled with my health; I had high blood pressure and high cholesterol. These health challenges seemed almost impossible to overcome. I started to feel hope after I joined the Lord’s Gym over two years ago. I worked out consistently because the people at the Lord’s Gym wanted to see me succeed and reach my goals—the community felt like family. Now, I am over 100 pounds lighter, have more muscle mass, and have healthy blood pressure and cholesterol. I feel more confident in myself and more motivated. If I can do it, you can do it too!

Since joining the gym my mental and physical health have improved tremendously. I used to be very overweight, had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and was nearly diabetic. The community at the gym was full of people like me who just wanted to work on themselves, and I felt like I belonged. This helped me to stay dedicated to improving my health. Since joining the gym, I’ve lost 105 pounds and my blood pressure, heart rate, cholesterol, and blood sugar are perfect. I feel confident, and I don’t need depression or anxiety medication anymore! No other gym benefits the community as much as the Lord’s Gym.

Before joining the Lord’s Gym, I struggled with depression and anxiety, which caused me to feel out of control. I started working out at Lord’s Gym over 15 months ago, and I have seen incredible improvements in my mental and physical health. I am much happier than I was, and I have become more muscular and lean because of my training. I always look forward to my workouts because the gym is clean and inviting, plus the staff make me feel comfortable and welcome!
